The Founder, Kickstart Kilifi, Henry Mkare was on the 27th December 2018, invited to a discussion on the education crisis in Bamba Ward, organized by a group of students-Bamba Ward University Students. In the discussion he got an opportunity to share his thoughts on Alternative education with the University Students who most of them are pursuing Bachelor’s Degree on Education in various Universities in Kenya. From the discussion he realize most of these future teachers have never heard the term/concept alternative education. The discussion was later followed by a meeting with the area Member of County Assembly (MCA) Hon. Christopher Mwambire who has promised to work with Kickstart Kilifi to uplift the education level of Bamba Ward.
